DESCRIPTION:Sourdough became popular over the last year as a healthier alte
rnative to regular white or whole wheat bread. Although it has comparable n
utrients\, the lower phytate levels mean it is more digestible and nutritio
us. The prebiotics also help to keep your gut bacteria happy\, and it may b
e less likely to spike blood sugar levels. Come to this class and make a do
zen sourdough muffins and go home with a small amount of starter to continu
e making sourdough bread. Bring a quart glass jar with a lid to class
