FIRST Tech ChallengeHigh School S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)**Teams are based on parent volunteer and space availability. Programs are held at Chanhassen High School and Chaska High School during the evenings/weekends. Once coaches are established, they will notify those registered of what the schedule will be. Most teams meet 2-3 times per week in the evenings/weekends. What is FIRST Tech Challenge? Teams of students collaborate to build and program a robot that competes on a 12' by 12' field. Each year the challenge is designed to encourage students to think critically and expand their knowledge of the engineering process. FIRST Tech Challenge in MN is part of an international robotics program that includes more than 3,000 teams globally. The registration fee includes 1 Regional Event. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.Summer 2026
