Calling all 4th and 5th grade girls who LOVE books, laughter, creativity and making new friends! Join us for a fun and welcoming book club where stories come to life through games, crafts, movement activities and meaningful conversations. Each session will include:*A guided discussion with a snack*A fun craft or activity*Movement and games*A great book to read together*Time to connect, share and have fun!Whether you're already a big reader or just starting to discover books you love, Book Besties is the perfect place to relax, be yourself and enjoy reading with friends!*A copy of the book is included with registration and will be give out the first day. We will do some of the reading during class and the girls will be asked to read a few short chapters on their own each week. Set your child up for social skills success with this class that builds children's self-confidence as they learn important skills that help them succeed. Children learn to make an a outstanding first impression, speak with confidence, use great manners, dine with distinction and much more! Each class is packed with information, interaction and a lot of FUN!Children will be encouraged to practice the skills that were learned following each class. Topics Include:*Making a Great First Impression*Introducing yourself/others*Engaging in Polite Conversation*Setting a Basic Table and Using Good Table Manners*Using Polite Words*Showing Gratitude

Participants will learn the important responsibilities of being safe alone-at-home. Topics include basic first aid, fire safety, kitchen safety, internet safety, small and large emergencies, stranger danger, sibling arguments, and more. A digital document is provided for parent/guardian and child discussion at home.
