Holiday favorites like a Puppy and Bunny with a Present encourage character design and expressive detail. Each lesson builds strong technical skills while keeping creativity and joy at the center.

If you enjoyed the drawing event at Hooked on Books last year, you'll love this class Young Rembrandts brings a joyful lineup of drawing lessons designed to build confidence and spark imagination. Students begin with a colorful Turkey, exploring shape recognition, pattern, and bold color choices. A Birdfeeder and playful Robot introduce structure, repetition, and storytelling. As the season continues, a Gingerbread Cookie and imaginative Gingerbread House add festive fun. Each lesson blends creativity with foundational art skills in a nurturing, upbeat environment—helping young artists grow in confidence and independence. Caregiver participation is welcome but not required—children may attend independently if they’re comfortable. Students attending afternoon StormHawks Preschool at the FLC are welcome to attend! A staff member will pick students up from their preschool classroom and will escort to the Drawing Class.
