Jazz band is a great extra-curricular elective where you are able to explore an important American music tradition. You will be exposed to the many styles of jazz influenced music including: the blues, swing, be-bop, Latin-jazz, funk, rock and more! Jazz band is a great way to improve your musicianship skills on your instrument, play different styles of music, and learn about improvisation! ALL BAND INSTRUMENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN JAZZ BAND! If you play guitar, bass, piano or drum set this is a great opportunity for you to enhance your musicianship on those instruments.
