Then this camp is her place to train and make new archery friends! Through fun games and experiential learning, participants will learn range safety and proper techniques for stance, aim, and release to improve their shot. Campers will get the opportunity to shoot both compound and recurve bows at various target styles. All equipment is provided. Cruise in a kayak, paddle a canoe, lounge on a paddle board, and conquer the Voyageur canoe. This 3-day camp will teach water safety and paddling techniques for all these watercraft favorites. Biking Day CampOutdoor EducationWaitlistGet ready to ride and explore with our Biking Day Camp! Each day starts and ends at Lion’s Park in Chaska and includes an average of 10 miles of biking each day. Destinations could include the Chaska Lake Trail, Riley Lake Beach, Fireman’s Park, and Hawk’s Ridge Mountain Bike Trail. Bikes and helmets are available to use. WaitlistMinnewashta Adventure CampOutdoor EducationIf your child loves playing outdoors with other kids, then this camp is for them! Based out of Lake Minnewashta Regional Park, this camp is all about outdoor adventure and is stuffed with activities like archery, geocaching, outdoor cooking, paddling, swimming, beach play, group games and more! Additionally, the U of M Extension 4H will be providing STEM based activities each day. Packing and check-in details will be emailed out before camp. In the case of storms, unhealthy air quality, or extreme heat, the camp schedule may be altered.Summer 2026
