This 90-minute public cruise on the Padelford Riverboat departs from Harriet Island in St. Paul. Sights along the way include: the St. Paul High Bridge, Pig’s Eye Cave, the Minnesota River mouth, Pike Island, and the timeless splendor of the mighty Mississippi River. An indoor climate-controlled cabin means we can enjoy the cruise rain or shine. Registration includes bus transportation to Harriet Island from Chaska High School. In this vibrant science class, kids will create tie-dye slime, design their own tie-dye socks, and explore the science of color through fun, hands-on experiments. It’s a bright, messy, and magical adventure! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child each day. Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late.
