Join the Intro to Competition Cheer Program, led by Chanhassen Competition Cheer! Open to students in grades K-5, this is an expansion of our Summer & Winter Break Mini Camps. Through weekly instruction, participants will learn what it is like to be a competition cheerleader! We will create a routine, and skills will be taught at a level that is appropriate for each participant with an end of session competition on January 9th in Minnetonka! Cost includes a Mini Storm Competition Cheer shirt that will be used as their uniform for performances. A payment plan is available to make this program more accessible!

There may be additional costs associated with tournaments, accomodations, etc.**Teams are based on parent volunteer and space availability. Programs are held at Chanhassen High School and Chaska High School during the evenings/weekends. Once coaches are established, they will notify those registered of what the schedule will be. Most teams meet 2-3 times per week in the evenings/weekends. What is FIRST Tech Challenge?Teams of students collaborate to build and program a robot that competes on a 12' by 12' field. Each year the challenge is designed to encourage students to think critically and expand their knowledge of the engineering process. FIRST Tech Challenge in MN is part of an international robotics program that includes more than 3,000 teams globally. The registration fee includes 1 Regional Event. Dash Sports Flag Football provides players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily. Players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of 'Respect, Hustle, and Pride'. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats, and mouth guards are optional)/ Footballs and flag belts are provided. Flag Football Tykes: Ignite your child’s love for the pitch! Our Soccer TYKES camps build confidence through dribbling, passing, and shooting drills tailored to our youngest athletes. We balance skill-building with high-energy games to keep kids engaged and active. We provide the soccer balls; please bring a water bottle and athletic shoes (shin guards optional). Parent Participation: Required for ages 2–3; recommended for ages 4–6 when extra support is needed.

DASH Sports floor hockey camps provide players with a well-rounded hockey experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly stickhandle, pass, shoot and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Sticks and pucks are provided. Parent participation will be required to help class run smoothly!
