A sweet, lively pastel workshop for animal lovers. Students draw whimsical bees, expressive frogs, a striking owl, a bright duck, and more while exploring blending, texture, layering, and bold color. Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.

This camp is designed for players who have played at the junior varsity or varsity levels. Players will be breaking down the variety of skills needed to compete at the high school level. During camp we will focus on strategy, mental toughness, along with skill development for both singles and doubles. This is led by Zach Williams, teacher and head boys tennis coach at Chaska High School.

Spice up your Spanish skills in this fun and interactive class centered around food and cooking! You'll build practical vocabulary and conversational confidence through learning food and drink vocabulary and practicing kitchen conversations to following recipes and and cooking together. Along the way, discover traditional Hispanic dishes and the rich culinary culture behind them. Perfect for food lovers looking to bring flavor to their Spanish. Open to new and previous Spanish conversation participants. While the class is open to all levels, basic Spanish skills will be helpful. If you love clay this is the camp for you. Learn all about sculpting, color-mixing, and decorative design. In this fun camp we’ll make kitty cat bowls, doggie faces, a pretty pink pig, a funny face pencil holder and more. We’ll use air dry and model magic clay, unique materials and clay tools to create our sculptures. Bring a beverage and a nut-free snack.
