FIRST Tech ChallengeHigh School S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)FIRST Tech Challenge Teams are full at this time. Returning members register here. There may be additional costs associated with tournaments, accomodations, etc.**Teams are based on parent volunteer and space availability. Programs are held at Chanhassen High School and Chaska High School during the evenings/weekends. Once coaches are established, they will notify those registered of what the schedule will be. Most teams meet 2-3 times per week in the evenings/weekends. What is FIRST Tech Challenge?Teams of students collaborate to build and program a robot that competes on a 12' by 12' field. Each year the challenge is designed to encourage students to think critically and expand their knowledge of the engineering process. FIRST Tech Challenge in MN is part of an international robotics program that includes more than 3,000 teams globally. The registration fee includes 1 Regional Event. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced daily. Players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of 'Respect, Hustle, and Pride'. Camp ends with scrimmages/games the final day where players can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats, and mouth guards are optional)/ Footballs and flag belts are provided. Flag Football Tykes: Ignite your child’s love for the pitch! Our Soccer TYKES camps build confidence through dribbling, passing, and shooting drills tailored to our youngest athletes.
