Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions. A majority of the class will be held outside (weather permitting) please dress accordingly and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Please bring a water bottle. Relate Counseling Center is a Community Based Mental Health Clinic serving the western suburbs. Relate also partners with the Eastern Carver school district to provide co-located mental health services in every elementary school. Permission Statement I understand that my child has an opportunity to participate in a therapeutic camp led by two therapists from Relate Counseling Center. For the purposes of this group, I give permission for school staff to share necessary information about my child with Relate staff, and for the Relate clinician to share necessary information about my child with the school staff.  I understand that this group is being funded through summer learning and is at no cost to me.

Calm your mind and reduce stress at 4 sessions of gentle, inclusive Chair Yoga! Taught by Certified Yoga Instructor, Jessica Emerson, each session will begin with breathwork and meditation and then move through a series of adapted, controlled yoga poses using a chair for seated support and standing balance. Every session ends with a seated "Savasana" (final relaxation) to leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed! Wear comfortable, easy-to-move in clothing. Her passion for an "all-inclusive yoga" approach was ignited during her training and educational journey, stemming from the firm belief that yoga is for every body. She holds a Master of Education with a specialization in Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, and Yoga. Jessica is certified in multiple styles, including Yin Yoga, Hatha Style Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, and is also a certified Reiki Master/Practitioner. Beyond teaching, she is a wife and mother of two adult children and pet parent to a couple high energy dogs. She connects with nature through various activities such as hiking, biking, gardening, skiing, and enjoying a good book outdoors.

Chaska High School girls' basketball staff will instruct players to improve their basketball skills. Camp will focus on fundamental skill work and will mix in team and player competitions. The individual basketball skill work along with offensive and defensive concepts will prepare players for the high school season. Players will receive a t-shirt; please indicate size when registering - Sign up by May 8th to guarantee your a shirt at the start of camp, if signing up after May 8th you'll receive a shirt towards the end of camp.
