Skyhawks Beginning Golf is powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences, the recommended entry-level golf program for PGA Junior Golf Camps. The unique games-based play program and modified learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing are all taught through games with simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Specially designed, age-appropriate golf equipment is provided.

Learn chords, strumming patterns, note reading, tabs and more. By the end of the class, you can pick a song of your choice to learn. Method book included. No prior experience needed. Guitars are available if you need one or bring your own. Acoustic or electric.

This course will guide you through the step-by-step technique of the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet style of painting. In this relaxed atmosphere, each class will provide you the opportunity to make your very own 20 x 16 replica of a Bob Ross painting that may include sunsets, mountains, rivers, hills, lakes, trees, or seascapes. Step into a world of imagination and engineering magic! In this indoor hands-on STEM camp, kids will design, craft, and create everything their fairies need to live and play. From building cozy fairy houses and whimsical bridges to crafting tiny fairy friends and a glowing LED lantern, every project helps bring their outdoor fairy garden to life. Campers will explore science, creativity, and storytelling—all while building their own enchanting mini world to take home! Supervision between morning/afternoon camps over the lunch hour is not provided. A few things to remember when arriving for camp at the Family Learning Center:• Please enter at the Main Entrance (Door #1) and someone will be there to check your child into camp. If you arrive early and doors are locked (as the FLC is a secure building) please wait with your child in the entry way until camp time.• At the end of class, the students will meet parents at the Main Entrance for pick up.• Most times instructors must go directly to another location after class and are unable to stay late. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up at class end time.

WHOLE TEAM: DT Strength Conditioning in CHS cardio room, Tuesday June 17, July 9 & 15. Advanced 8:00-8:45am, Beg/Intermediate 8:45-9:30am. Cost is $30. Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions. A majority of the class will be held outside (weather permitting) please dress accordingly and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Please bring a water bottle. Clinics are designed for skill improvement and are aimed at players who will work hard and want to get better. There will be a focus on the fundamental skills of ball handling, passing, footwork and shooting. We will emphasize skills needed to succeed as a Chanhassen High School player such as setting/using screens, finishing at the rim, spacing and our motion offense concepts. Along with skill work we will play competitive games of 1 on 1, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5. Choose to attend all summer long or pick to attend the months of June or July based on your summer plans!

Storm Youth Basketball Camp is focused on fun, game play, skill development and enjoying the game of basketball. Each day will have skill development, contests and competitive games (3 on 3, 5 on 5). Camp will be led by Chanhassen Boys Basketball Head Coach Corey Christopherson, his staff and Storm high school players.
