Book Study (Adult Only) Join us for a welcoming, low-pressure book club designed for connection, reflection, and community. Throughout the school year, we’ll gather once a month to explore ideas from Hunt, Gather, Parent and discuss what resonates in our own parenting journeys. Each session will include a brief summary of key concepts, along with plenty of time for conversation, support, and shared experiences. Come as you are, take what’s helpful, and enjoy a space dedicated to learning from one another. Sibling care is available for an additional fee. Children must be ages birth through kindergarten entrance to attend child care. Registration is required.

Create a charming home for one of nature's most captivating pollinators - butterflies! Participants will assemble and decorate their own wooden butterfly house. As the paint dries, make and enjoy a butterfly-themed pretzel snack. Two class sections will be offered - choose afternoon or evening. Come explore your feelings in this interactive camp designed to help students learn about, manage and identify emotions. Students will engage in skill building, movement activities, community building and crafts to increase their feeling vocabulary and build skills to cope with emotions. A majority of the class will be held outside (weather permitting) please dress accordingly and apply sunscreen prior to arrival. Please bring a water bottle. Please register for the grade you will be entering next fall. Registration is by referral only. Relate Counseling Center is a Community Based Mental Health Clinic serving the western suburbs. Relate also partners with the Eastern Carver school district to provide co-located mental health services in every elementary school. Permission Statement I understand that my child has an opportunity to participate in a therapeutic camp led by two therapists from Relate Counseling Center. For the purposes of this group, I give permission for school staff to share necessary information about my child with Relate staff, and for the Relate clinician to share necessary information about my child with the school staff.  I understand that this group is being funded through summer learning and is at no cost to me.

The Fall Performance Team is dedicated to the preparation of the Chanhassen Winter Competitive Dance Team, including a strong focus in Technique, Strength and Endurance Training. Pre-Requirements: TURNS: Double pirouette turn, 2 – 8 counts of open second turns, Chaines turns JUMPS: Toe touch/Russian jump KICKS: Basic high kicks, Battement kicks LEAPS: Jete leap, Open second leap OTHER: Right and left splits, Basic ballet technique, Jazz walks, Leg holds NEW THIS YEAR: We are hosting tryouts for the team! Our focus is ability to learn quickly, baseline technique, and performance quality! You do not need experience to make the team, we are looking for effort, good attitude and ability to learn!

Take yourselves out on a date and we'll take care of the rest! A night of dinner, crafts, tumbling, games, stunting, cheers, and dance. Come back at 8:15pm for an end of the night performance! This program is led by the Chanhassen Varsity Sideline Cheer Team.

This camp will aim to enhance the skill set of each camper. We will focus on ball handling and shooting drills that will help the athlete improve their scoring and play-making ability. We will also play games of 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5. These games will provide time for the athlete to use the skills that we work on against defense.
