Adapted Music Class
Participants with special needs will learn how to play songs on color-coded 3-string guitars, keyboards and bass guitars as well as a plethora of percussion instruments. Sing along as well. We’ll learn pop, rock, hip hop and country songs.
Innovative adaptive music curriculum designed by Twin Cities leader in music education Ruth LeMay and taught by district music educator Eric Songer. Instruments provided.
* One to One supervision is not provided. Caregivers/friends are welcome to attend with students if assistance is needed.
Eric Songer
Eric has been a music teacher in Eastern Carver County Schools since 1997. In 2021, he was named District 112's Teacher of the Year. He has grown the after school and summer music programs into thriving, exciting opportunities for students.
